Went to Kamloops with mama-Linda this past week. She had her BCTF summer conference to attend. We visited in-between times, but still had plenty of fun and visiting time. Also I visited mom-Aline and Kathryn.
Kate n I spent one day geocaching and picnicking and wining (ha ha) at Stake Lake. It was so fun. We found 4 caches. The hardest to find was also in the coolest container. See pic.
She also has an adorable dog named Doug.
Also went to music in the park with mom-Aline and momma-Linda. It was so fun! One night was the band Cod Gone Wild and they were from the East Coast. They were excellent.
The band on the second night was funk and I didn't like them much. It was fun anyhow though. especially funny about the ice cream.
We all three decided to go get an ice cream cone - after seeing others at the show with ice cream. The dudes at the ice cream truck were flirtatious with us all 3 older ladies and overfilled our ice creams so much that we were more than shocked.
Mamma-Linda couldn't finish hers. It started out piled up so much that it overhung her cone and dripped all over. I had to help her eat it down a bit by chewing off large globs with my non-sensitive crown teeth.
Aline's was too heavy for her cone which was exacerbated by the crack in her cone and the whole snowball-sized blob of ice-cream plopped off her crumbled come onto the grass. We nabbed the entire chunk with a napkin and she went back and got a 'mostly' free refill.
My cone was a duo flavor. I managed to eat it all, but I felt rather like a fat hog once I'd eaten every bite! They made the cones GROTESQUELY oversized. Way more than even a nicely oversized cone where you think you've been given an extra special deal. And I ate all of mine! Oink! Oink!
Anyhow it was a lovely 'ladies days' me n moms n Kathryn. Wish I'd got a few more pix of us all. Darn. I guess I was too busy playing n having fun.
