After boating, we borrowed dad's trailer and camped in summerland for 6 days. So fun. Didn't take too many pics, then, but here're a few. Did some more boating a week or so later ... didn't get pix of camping boating. These pics are on Jeff and Charline's boat. We were on Cultus Lake. It was great!! After being at home a few days, we then headed to "Run-21', a biker music show/rally in Otis, Oregon. We went with Jeff and Charline. Well, they drove their motorhome and we motorbiked down the coast then met them there and camped with them. They slept in their motorhome and we slept in the cargo trailer. ![]() This is a game called Jenga. It's normally a small tabletop game, but Jeff made a large version and put funny rules on the underside of each board. Each player, in turn, pulls out a board near the bottom without tipping over the stack. You lose if it tips! It's a drinking game. The rules say things like 'person to your left drinks twice'. Ps It's really quite fun and funny.

We started out boating Kalamalka Lake in Vernon. I took only 1 picture there. How reticent of me, eh? It was lovely. That lake is the coolest green colour! We found a great park to beach the boat at and have bbqs. Ben, Teresa, and a gang of kids joined us one day. Then Steve and Sara joined us the next day. The most incredible thing happened, at dusk, when we were just leaving the beach area we'd been at. A young deer, a buck with fuzzy antlers beginning, walked slowly along the beach toward us. He'd stop periodically and sip a drink them mosey on. He was very nonplussed. We think he didn't see is at all. We stood dead still - wishing our phones (cameras) were in hand to get photos, but all were on the boat. Argh. The buck walked almost right up to us then quietly trotted around us, then kept going up the beach. HOW AWESOME IS THAT?! Well, I haven't taken many pics yet. But here are a few. |
